How do you take a bare shell and turn it into a regional headquarters in 48 days without losing anything that matters?

LEO Pharma was looking for one space to do two jobs: a regional hub for its emerging markets and a head office for the UAE organisation. It took three to five minutes at Expo City Dubai for the team to decide this was home.

For Fitted, the opportunity was to build a Danish company a working home in the new centre of Dubai’s future, and to do it in record time.

Listening to Leo Pharma, we built in line with our understanding of the Danish value system. Openness, directness and simplicity. Collaborative space, with room to focus. A welcoming posture toward innovation and partnership.

We entered a core and shell space. Four walls and a few windows.

Every corner was put to work. The layout follows the light, which reaches the desks, the coffee area and the pantry. Open collaborative areas sit alongside individual units and pods for focus work. Acoustic panels line the desks and the meeting rooms. Smart glass handles the meetings that need to stay private. The play den holds a relaxed divide, a food table and beanbags on one side, quieter ground on the other.

Every decision and action, carried out in close collaboration with the client.

An office that reads as both Dubai and Denmark, with line, brightness and light that make people want to spend more time in it.
